    I love this whole scene! I was so worried that the fujoshi (was that it?) would try to take advantage or something, but this is the best result of this scene ever!!! love love love the last panel!! absolutely one of my favourite scenes, well done :D

        I can’t agree with TwilightDreamer more on this. This is was a great way to end the
        scene. The sentimentality and serenity in the final frame compliments
        the previous pages’ hilarity perfectly.

        While character driven scenes/arcs/chapters *can* be slow if not done right, but you, imho, have successfully kept the fact that the scene had a lot less energy (Is “energy” a good term here?) than previous scenes by adding in bits of comedy to balance out the fact that all the scene boils down to is “people talking about and playing chess” (Which *does* sounds like that would be a fairly slow scene).

        btw Is the book available in an e-book format? I really don’t have room for lots of real books.

    I’m allergic to cats as well…but I still have three of them (o7o ) So cuddly at night.

    It does speak volumes however on how comfortable Fleance is with Caesar despite Caesar’s affliction and Fleance protesting to Ice that he would have written humans off as prey long ago. If Fleance didn’t have some amount of trust, he would not be sleeping so easily. Perhaps Humans should still be prey, except Caesar.

    How fluffy~.I love the last panel the best. You have to make a poster of it from the last panel. It so wonderful. Arghh…!!! I can described how I really feel to the last panel. My best and favorite scene. The original one don’t have this scene, though. I’m glad you added more between Fleance and Caesar. Thank you. Thank you very much. You completed my week with this page.
