You haven’t seen the last of that Abalone project! :P

The book launch was a success, a big THANK YOU to those who purchased my book! I sold more than I had anticipated, thanks everyone for supporting my work! This is huge encouragement for me :)

This is my first Tutorial in a million years.  In this video I’ll show you how I ink and color the cover page for chapter 20 of my web comic Pandect. (the rough draft version)

    Rofl XD The hilarious part is that Ice is just being friendly and saying things that sound so normal to him, even though to others they come off as rude and inappropriate ^^

    Well I’m proud to say I’ve purchased a copy of Book 1 in e-book format. And after finishing it, I will say I can’t wait for Book 2. I’m really liking were the story is headed.

    As for this page, I’m really enjoying ice as a character. He speaks in a way that is littered with accidental innuendo – as well as being in heat 24/7 – a perfect recipe for a comedy god mine. And I always enjoy good comedy relief.

    I’m also weighing in my guess that it will be Ice and Caesar who will be the elements that allow Fleance to trust humans – or at least think “not all humans are bad”.

      And thank you, I have a lot of fun with his character due to those characteristics. Your guesses is correct! Which is one of the reason Ice and other domesticated animals like him are in this school. Like domestic animals, they do act as a “bridge” or a comfort zone between humans and the wild.

      haha you’re so cute! Yes a gecko is a type of lizard. Largest lizard being the crocodile. The smallest lizard… someone chime in?

        I would vote for the little ones that run around Florida like field mice, however leaf chameleons hold the title as of 2012.

    Purchased the book last night, should be here next Monday! I don’t normally buy physical copies of webcomics, but the story is just that good, and the MorbidPrince updates content like clockwork (including her rough draft updates on comic genesis!). Definitely worth buying her book!

      I know how much I hate it when comics I follow update late (I had a few periods of hiatus throughout the lifetime of Pandect the longest being from 2011 to May 2013) so i try my best to keep it on time. I work 1 year ahead of my online comic so you don’t have to worry about that anymore :)

    That tutorial is awesome! I see you are ambidextrous, you remind me of my daughter when she was little she switched her crayons from one hand to another claiming that one hand was tired. Now she only draws with her right one but do a lot of other things with the left one. Hehehe. Blending with the marker over pencil gives it watercolor look that is so lovely!
