Ch 2 – 9 – Are You Okay?

Just in case anyone is wondering, all animals with the exception of Edgar are real species, Edgar is based off of Tokay Gecko.  A gecko with Edgar’s of coloration has never been found (at least not yet).  I made him up.

Since Edgar is based off the Tokay, he also has similar temperament.  Aggressive little bugger.  Tokays make unpleasant pets.

A friend of mine said the Tokay Gecko is also known as the “Fuck You” Gecko in Vietnam, because of the barking sound they make, is this true?  Cause I LOL’d so hard.

    Edgar reminds me of the geckos we get here…though without the colouring of course.

    VERY true, Dina! LOL It’s supposed to sound like ‘Toh-KAY’ ‘Toh-KAY’.. but I suppose if you’re listening to the tone in that sense it would totally sound like it was saying ‘Fuck You!’ Hahaha :P

    They also bite so hard it feels like the body-part was slammed in a car door.

    Actually, tokays can make good pets. One just needs to know how to handle them. They’re just not as easy-going as leopard geckos, so most people look at them as the stick-up-their-asses of the gecko world.

    It just me but I think I love Caesar. He just human but all the animal look far too comfortable around him. Like actually want him around. Didn’t aces especially Fleance hate human. Why did he care to Caesar?

    Tokays are feisty and definately not a starter lizard. While some have managed to tame them down to handling most of the time they will open their mouths as a threat or just latch onto you. I want one so much LOL
