It’s a normal reaction right? Running up a tree when someone is too friendly with you?
Cats always do that with me…

Thank you all for your comments, emails sorry if I haven’t been able to get back to you all and sorry I’ve been very MIA in the last weeks.  Working long days to ensure the Olympic programming airs smoothly!

I don’t think I’ve left work since the Olympics started …. I miss life ;_;

      And coconut trees are not as easy to climb as it looks…
      Aaah only the television part, I work in a Sport TV station.
      So I wasn’t sent to Sochi or anything, I stayed here and make sure people here get to watch it on TV, mainly people in the Pacific Canadian coast XD

    There aren’t any snakes on this page. But I’d like to announce I now own a pretty Mexican King Snake named Isabelle (Izzy for short). Here’s hoping she gains her Ace one day 8D

        I’ll see if I can bring her with me to Anime Expo. I remember that one year a dude stopped by your booth with a snake. ^_~

          WOW can you really do that?? I remember that guy, I fell in love with that snake. Now I know it’s a Mexican King Snake. How do you keep her warm? or does she need that? How do you keep her from escaping? And what do you feed her? You don’t feed her little snakes do you? How big does she get? LOL

            No idea, and I think the biggest step right now would be getting my parents to let me have her stay over. After that, see if Anime Expo will let me carry a snake on me. If they don’t, I can always wait for the day/panels to be over and then latch onto you for company and bring her along then.

            She stays warm in the “Snake Room” with my friend’s snake which has its own heater to keep it at roughly 80F. She currently stays in a plastic critter container. She isn’t big/long enough to reach the middle plastic piece that can be popped open with force and the rest of the top is hard enough for me to open. I figured it would be better to keep her in a different container than the red-lid medium one my friend uses for her Albino California King Snake. She, the Albino, had escaped because she was strong enough to nudge the middle of the lid edge, and small enough to slide through. I haven’t fed her yet since she is so new and we feed the snakes every 10 days, but we will be feeding her frozen/thawed pinkies. We most likely won’t feed her another snake until she gets bigger, and only if one of the venomous ones gets out and we can’t recapture it.

            Thanks for sharing that info! Sounds like all your snakes gets pampered! Which is awesome :) Btw, how do you make sure the pinkies and other live food don’t carry disease? Or is this something that comes with feeding live food? Wait, did you just say you can feed them venomous snakes? WHOA

            We buy them from a person who raises them to feed his own snakes so they are all disease free. Same for the lives, though its funny/awkward since they come in little boxes that are all “You’re taking your new friend home -love/happiness-“. XD

            And the only way one of the venemous ones will be turned into food is if we can’t recapture him/her. Then we let Rick the Mole Kingsnake out and flee the room. XD

    I wonder if dog chase cat because it like the cat. If it true, I don’t need to have panic attack whenever I hear dog barking near my house fearing it will chase my cat. (My cat sat calmly next to me like it was nothing, probably this is the reason)

      I wouldn’t be too sure about that. I have heard from a friend of my cousin’s and mine, that she had a kitten, and also another kitten that she had given to a family for their son. Both kittens were killed by dogs who got a hold of them.
