Ch 2 – 11 – Arf

That thing Caesar’s working on was my Thesis Project on Biomimicry.  I decided to recycle it.

Biomimicry is the study and imitation of nature for the purpose of solving human problems and inspiring human innovations.  The Abalone shell is more durable and lightweight than conventional metal, this has to do with how the shell is made.  Currently Abalone inspired building materials, amors, and unbreakable ceramics are being considered.  I’m looking forward to some unbreakable plates :)

    If you’re interested in unbreakable things, check out the research on single-walled carbon nanotubes. I did my dissertation on the toxic effects of them in rainbow trout and I’m still on the fence about whether the pros outweigh the cons on thier use.

      OOH I shall! Thank you! Hm… just base on what you’re telling me if it’s going to pollute the environment then the cons definitely outweighs the pros. All toxins we release eventually works its way back to us since we’re the top of the food chain.
