        I know an “original” that was composed by a French musician titled “Mais non” where the basic rhythm and beat comes from.

        But most people know the song from a skit by the Muppets, where they change the lyrics from “mais non” to the nonsensical “mahna mahna.”

        And then in the RPG Warhammer 40K, there’s a chart called the “Phenomenon” chart that has certain effects happen to you if your “spells” backfire. It’s common for people who play it to start singing the song with the word “phenomenon” in place of “mahna mahna”.
